It was a glorious day, the sun was shining and the temperature was about 70 degrees.
We enjoyed apple fritters and apple dumplings. They are the best right out of the fryer! Yum, all covered with sugar.
In tradition of our yearly trip, I bought apple cider and apple cake mix along with cheese curds. The cheese curds sound gross, but boy they are great. I am not sure if cheese curds are an Upstate New York thing.
All I know is that I don't have to go very far to enjoy a beautiful autumn day!

That looks like a great place to spend a fall day!
I love apple dumplings!
I bet your trees are turning pretty good up there.
Ours are just starting.
Have a great day!

Hi there! Love your photos of the apple farm. I've been trying to get to our local orchard for a few weeks now....maybe next week. Cheese curds are not popular in our area, but I would eat them. What a perfect day you had, it will probably be snowing when I go!
Have a great day!
Jenn
